DAVID R. EICHNER, ASA Associated Senior Appraiser PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Mr. Eichner has been a Machinery Broker, Appraiser, and Project Manager / Consultant for 35 years. He is an ASA accredited senior appraiser, past president of the American Society of Appraisers - Los Angeles Chapter, and Vice Chairman of the ASA California Chapters Government Relations Committee. Mr. Eichner is an experienced machinery broker in the machining, fabrication, woodworking, laboratory, chemical and food industries, as well as computer chip manufacturing equipment. He possesses the ability to successfully determine values and markets for high-tech, industrial and commercial equipment. His experiences assembling complete manufacturing facilities, including electrical, foundations, build outs, machine rigging and trucking, gives him a unique ability to deconstruct and value plants for continued use and eminent domain purposes. In addition, Mr. Eichner has been a project manager / consultant on a variety of project types including business valuations, market analysis, inventory valuations, and business development projects. He is experienced in designing manufacturing facilities using new and used equipment in metal working, plastics, glass, composites, chemical processing and laboratories in the commerical, military, medical and aerospace industries. The types of appraisals performed by Mr. Eichner are USPAP compliant and include FASB 141 Impairment Studies (for accounting purposes), Eminent Domain Appraisals (for government entities and property owners), Fair Value Appraisals (primarily for accounting purposes), Market Value in Continued Use (for allocation of purchase price purposes), Market Value Appraisals (primarily for asset based collateral loans and leases), Orderly Liquidation Appraisals (primarily for asset based collateral loans), and Forced Liquidation Value Appraisals (primarily for SBA loan guarantee recovery.
